Each manufacturing environment can pose different challenges. When working in a lab setting it is crucial to overcome vibration and level challenges to ensure accuracy in your work or experiments. In this instance, a specially tailored solution is ideal. Bilz vibration isolated tables are constructed to cater to your specific needs. Let’s dive into the different options available to help guide you towards the right solution for your environment.
The Bilz Laboratory Table LTH is particularly robust and resistant. This vibration isolated workplace can be used for any application where vibrations and changes in level cause sustained disturbances to the experiment or work. This table isolates disturbing vibrations with highly effective membrane air spring isolators and a solid granite plate. At the same time, the mechanical-pneumatic level control system automatically ensures that the level is retained to an accuracy of up to ± 0.01 mm, even with load changes.
This vibration isolated table is best suited for sensitive measuring and testing equipment. This includes laser equipment, optical and electronic instruments, scales, and medical instruments.
Bilz Optical Table LTO is distinguished by its excellent quality and functionality. Our optical workplaces offer optimum rigidity and damping with low density. Bilz LTO honeycomb tops have a greater damping response. The usual high resonance amplitude in the higher frequency range is attenuated by the tables by their natural damping.

We use standard black anti-reflective polyurethane, as it is impervious to most chemicals. It absorbs more than 90 %of the light incident upon it.
Lightweight, high dampening, honeycomb style that is vertically bonded with specifically matched resin making it both waterproof and acid-resistant. Contact us about optional core materials.

Bilz Optical tables are best suited for the construction of laser optical systems and interferometers, as well as special microscopes.
Due to their increased air volume, BiAir® OC air springs achieve a reduced natural frequency of approximately 2 Hz in the vertical plane. Laboratory tables with BiAir® OC air springs are best suited for applications with lower dynamics that require an excellent isolation effect.
Like BiAir® OC air springs, BiAir® PAS air springs also achieve a reduced vertical natural frequency due to their increased air volume. In addition, they have reduced natural frequency in the horizontal plane due to their pendulum suspension arrangement. This enables the laboratory table with pendulum air springs to reach a natural frequency of approximately 2 Hz in the vertical plane and approximately 1.2 Hz in the horizontal plane. This makes laboratory tables with pendulum air springs ideal for applications with low dynamics and higher requirements for vibration isolation in both the vertical and horizontal planes.
Bilz can create a vibration isolated table that is individually tailored to your application. We will work together to compile the equipment features for the optimum laboratory table. This may include adding holes or threads in the table top and the subframe, creating a special size, or adding metal guide rails.
