One of our customers faced a unique challenge while integrating our FAEBIⓇ air spring isolators into their testing environment. The customer was using a Zwick Roell machine, a state-of-the-art tensile testing device. This machine is utilized for testing various materials under tension until they yield or break. In the case of plastic, it measures the material’s elasticity. Ensuring stability for such a sophisticated piece of machinery is vital, and thus, it requires a robust base.
Our customer purchased the FAEBIⓇ air spring isolators from Bilz USA to enhance the stability of their Zwick Roell machine. Although the installation of the air springs was carried out by the customer’s team, they experienced a persistent issue – the air spring kept deflating.

Upon close inspection, we noticed that the valves on the air spring were set up backward and the pressure was going into the incorrect valve. Specifically, the ‘P’ and ‘A’ valves on the air spring were switched. This misconfiguration was causing the continuous deflation of the air spring and thus, preventing the isolators from functioning optimally.
Guided by our experienced team over the video call, the customer was able to rectify the valve arrangement and restore the functionality of the FAEBIⓇ air spring isolators.
