For the setting up of BD Rowa™‘s highly automated order picker, a universal solution had to be developed. Amongst the high demands were functionally easily adjustable levelling elements with insulating plates as fittings. This solution should effectively isolate the structure-borne noise and to keep the geometric accuracy stable and constant over many years.

Together with the customer, our engineers developed a product that was perfectly adapted to BD Rowa™‘s requirements. For this purpose, machine feet were produced that fulfilled the special prerequisites of form, colour, levelling and fastening screws. The mounting of Bilz isolation plates has also proven itself as an economically optimal solution at BD Rowa™. The excellent damping characteristics ensure optimal suspension and level consistency – regardless of whether under a static or dynamic load.

Equipped in this way, the automated order pickers could be set up with vibration and structure-borne sound isolation. The Bilz solution has been used here successfully for 15 years. Disturbing vibrations are effectively isolated and processes are improved through higher precision. And in addition, people, the environment and the machines are protected.
