Vibration isolation is the process of isolating an object, such as a piece of equipment, from the source of vibrations. Vibration is undesirable in many domains, primarily engineered systems and habitable spaces, and methods have been developed to prevent the transfer of vibration to such systems.
Vibration isolation solutions work to isolate sensitive equipment from a severe vibration environment, like a factory floor running several large heavy machines. Solutions can also be used to isolate an environment, such as the interior of a car, from vibration forces being generated from something like the engine.

Used for vibration and structure-borne noise insulated machine installation, maintenance-free machine elements from Bilz guarantee simple and precise leveling of machines and are available in many versatile designs. While they go by many different names, adjustable, heavy duty, leveler, foot, jack, legs, mount, and pad, they have similar things in common.

Bilz leveling feet are an economical solution for providing both machine leveling and vibration isolation. These leveling feet are available from stock in various sizes and models to suit a wide range of applications. Leveling feet are supplied in either cast iron or stainless steel and can be combined with several different types of isolation pad materials depending on your application.
At Bilz we offer various types of machine leveling mounts.
Our heavy duty mounts are made of cast iron, have 1″ (25mm) thick rubber vibration isolation pad bonded on the bottom, and feature a center jack bolt on the top for height adjustment. They are available with different types of rubber vibration isolation pads as well as with or without a mounting plate.
Machine levelators are made of steel, and are available in three different sizes with both Bolt-Thru or Bolt-On designs. These provide extremely precise and accurate machine positioning and leveling because they securely anchor a machine to the floor or foundation.
Horizontal mounts feature a leveling foot attached to a 90° angle plate which is bolted to a concrete floor. This arrangement provides a horizontal force to prevent machinery with high horizontal acceleration forces from walking on the concrete floor. For even larger forces, we offer larger 90° angle plates with a Bilz precision leveling wedge.
Vibration Isolated Washers are standard steel washers with vibration isolation pad material bonded to one side of the washer. They prevent vibrations from traveling to or from the machine through the anchor stud and into the foundation. They also address “short-circuiting” of the vibration isolation.
